Newest Cancer Update

Good news everyone. Chris went in for her regular cancer screening, and she passed with flying colors. Everything came out normal, and the Doctor said she looked great!
We are continuing to improve our diets and exercise regimens. Robyn is putting us on a 'green smoothie' program. Everything I have learned about cancer indicates that most cancers are preventable. It's just really difficult for us to give up processed and junk foods.

A lot of wonderful events have been documented on this blog. The birth of our newest grandchild, Montana David Brown, the son of Liberty and Andi, and the little brother of Eryn, deserves a special place of honor among those events. We're proud of you Andi. Thanks for bringing him into the family. You've done a great job!

Kerry and Tess rode in the 26 mile bike race. Gini and Jason ran the half marathon (13 miles) and did great. Candi and Isabel ran the 5K event (the first marathon for both of them) and they looked fresh enough at the finish, that they could have run another one! It was a wonderful Thanksgiving, and the best part was that I didn't have to wash any beaters. Our thoughtful grandkids kept them clean.

Yesterday it snowed 24" at our house. Today it is cold, sunny, and amazing!
I put on x-country skis for the first time in my life. What a workout! There is a reason I didn't see any other skiers, the snow hadn't settled enough to ski on! It was beautiful though, and I need the exercise. Enjoy the pics.

While Mom & Dad's Away...

Gini and Jasen went on a short cruise to Mexico, and that means that Grandma and Grampa got to spoil some wonderful grandkids for a few days! (Is it my imagination, or do the grandkids all mind grampa better than.., well, you know what I mean.)
