I feel like I'm doing a special for National Geografic. It's so cool watching them peck their way out.

I have always thought that all baby animals are so cute. Well, not any more!! They are so gross!
Still it is very cool that you are able to see them. Ours are deep in the tree hole and we don't even get a glimpse of them.
i'm with gini on that one! as soon as your blog came up i said "ew gross" but i think when it comes to ugly baby animals i think the naked mole rate takes a first, all hairless with huge teeth and little beady eyes, oh wait thats what they look like when they grow up too. so go tell that baby bird that not to worry about her appearance now at least she's not a naked mole rat. that will make her feel better. makes me feel better about myself anyway!
